Read Sea Film Festival Cancelled

I didn’t even know there was one-Red Sea Film Festival canceled just over two weeks away from its showings over coronavirus fears in Al Balad. This is the old district of Jeddah with all the traditional houses and wholesale markets.
Great spot for cinemas, but it does get a bit crowded. Now, the Ministry of Health has warned against people meetings in busy crowded areas. And, foreign travel to Saudi Arabia has been suspended. Everyone’s feeling safely tucked up in bed at home keeping a low profile. See the cancellation notice.

Yes! They want to contain the coronavirus. So far 11 people have contracted it bu no one has died yet. We are all happy, anyhow!
